Muppet Illustrations Revisited
Recently at my current gig at Blick, I've been sharpening up my Illustrator skills. And by sharpening, I mean actually learning how to properly use Illustrator. So as exercises I've gone back into my Muppet designs, which I really miss doing. I always wanted to do a Sam Eagle, so here he is, my first Illustrator project. shown in progress of course.

MEANWHILE!!
It has been something like 7 months since the Made in America show. The show and the piece were a success, despite the ironic fact that the T.R.U.S.T. gallery management, took the show down the same night, for an undisclosed reason.
But who cares!
My absence from your little internet lives does have something to show for it. After a work stint at BDDW studios as a furniture maker, I have returned fresh and with new gusto for the things I make, not to mention some real opportunities to look forward to. so i hope you kids can hold on a little longer until the new work starts pouring in.
Until then, I'll just be your Rock'n Roll Framer.

The Internet pt 1
This is the first part in a series about the internet utilizing video and streaming services like Stickam. This particular camera is set to observe and broadcast the gallery in which the sculpture is currently on display.
The first appearance of this piece will be during the day of Thursday May 13. This will be during a critique in Hamilton Hall at the University of the Arts. You can watch the critique on this blog, and even chat with other observers.

Work From the 2424 Show
Today was the de-install of my show up at the 2424 gallery. It was easy and very straight-forward. Since the work is now down I can post the pictures of what I've really been doing the last few months. im going to try and keep it to only three pictures per piece.
The Invasion of East Texas
I showed an updated version of the same piece i posted before. For the show the work was standing in a pool of oilBackwoods Engineering
This is another updated piece with new legs and an environment.
The Skeletons of Old Industry Will Become the Framework for the New Order
-or-
What Are We Going To Do When the Trees Are Gone?
This is the first new piece, mostly just based off an idea of a lumberjack having to resort to chopping down oil derricks because there are no more trees.
A.L.F.R.E.D.
Stands for Advanced Labor and Farming Ready Efficiency Droid.
